Lloyd McCann lives at Sewells, a purpose-built bungalow in Welwyn Garden City, which is home to seven older people with learning disabilities.
He enjoys gardening and has his own greenhouse where he plants and grows tomatoes. Lloyd loves to go on holiday too.
With support from staff he’s been on fishing trips to Wales, and visits his home town of Dundee too. “I went fishing in Wales and also went up Snowdon on the railway,” he says.
Lloyd has lived at Sewells for 12 years.
“The staff are very good, they help me do the things I want to do,” he says. “I’ve always liked being here.”
