83a Kingsway is a detached house, situated on a bus route, and is close to shops, a post office, church, pubs and clubs. There is a swimming pool and a leisure centre and country park within two miles.
The house opened in December 1989 as a residential home for four young adults with learning disabilities by the London Borough of Hillingdon. Since November 1992 it has been operated by Life Opportunities Trust.
83a Kingsway is comfortably furnished and has all modern appliances to provide a warm, homely environment. There is a small secluded back garden, mostly lawn, planted with shrubs and a patio for eating outside in the summer.
There is a lounge/dining room and kitchen and a downstairs toilet. There is a bathroom upstairs as well as a separate shower room.
