Heather Lane, Hillingdon

74 Heather Lane was opened by the London Borough of Hillingdon in June 1990 as a residential home for three women with learning disabilities.  Since November 1992 it has been operated by Life Opportunities Trust.

The house is semi-detached and is sited in a quiet residential area five minutes walking distance from several bus routes – Uxbridge, Hayes and Hounslow and fifteen minutes from Yiewsley and West Drayton High Streets and West Drayton mainline station. The local hospital is also only five minutes’ walk away.

There are three bedrooms (one downstairs), a lounge/dining room, kitchen, laundry room, a downstairs shower room, an upstairs bathroom and a staff sleeping-in room.

Access within Heather Lane is restricted for those with mobility problems because of split levels and steps to the front and rear of the property. The garden is enclosed and has an extensive vegetable-growing area.
